Terms of entry · 2026

The rules a team agrees to when it registers.

These terms govern the 24G GenNext Digital Creative Competition 2026, operated by XTF Global Limited. Registration is acceptance. The FAQ and Judging pages explain the same ideas in a more human voice; if they conflict, this page wins on legal points.

1. Eligibility and teams

Entrants must be aged 14–24 on 31 January 2026 and currently enrolled as described on the FAQ. Teams are two to five natural persons. No solo entries. A captain is the contracting contact. Schools may enter up to five teams; only one team per school may attend Finals. Finalists from a team's last competed season may not enter this season. 24G may request evidence of age and enrolment and may disqualify a team that cannot provide it.

2. Fees, waivers, refunds

The published team fee is due at registration unless a waiver is granted in writing. VAT may apply. Waivers are discretionary. Fees are not refunded because a team later cannot staff a round, except where law requires otherwise or where 24G cancels the season. Cancellation of a single round is not a season cancellation.

3. Briefs, deadlines, scoring

Briefs, constraints and deliverables are as published. Deadlines are GMT. Late or incomplete packages are not scored. The rubric is insight, idea, craft, cultural tension and feasibility, equally weighted, unless a Finals pack states an additional live-pitch score. Jury decisions on artistic merit are final. Process errors (a missing file we caused, a conflicted juror) may be corrected. We do not re-run a round because a team dislikes a critique.

4. Original work and third-party rights

Submissions must be the team's original work, plus materials the team has the right to use. Uncleared commercial music, trademarks used as if commissioned, and undeclared generated primary artefacts are breaches. 24G may remove work from exhibition and revoke a certificate for a serious breach, including plagiarism, fabricated research, or manipulation of the verifier.

5. Intellectual property licence

The team retains copyright. By entering, the team grants 24G a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to copy, display, archive and communicate the submission for running the season, public exhibition, education, press, and certificate contexts, with team credit. 24G will not sell the campaign to a brand as a student-sourced job. 24G will not enter the work into another competition in 24G's name.

6. Generative tools

Permitted as declared assistants. Prohibited as undeclared substitutes for authorship, and as “in the style of [living artist]” prompts. The Judging ethics section is incorporated into these terms.

7. Certificates

Certificates are issued only to named members of finalist and category-winning teams, at 24G's discretion as to format. An ID in the public verifier is the authoritative record. 24G may revoke an ID for a serious integrity breach. Certificates are not professional licences and not marks of D&AD, ADC, Cannes Lions, The One Show, YCN or Adobe.

8. Conduct and safeguarding

Harassment of other teams, jurors, mentors or staff is grounds for removal. Under-18 members require a coordinator and guardian consent. Teams will not put identifiable people in submissions without appropriate consent, and will not present clinical advice. 24G may contact a coordinator if a submission raises a welfare concern.

9. Liability

The competition is provided as a student educational programme. To the extent permitted by law, 24G is not liable for lost opportunity, travel costs, or a jury's artistic judgement. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Prize amounts are as published in the Finals pack and may be withheld if a team cannot receive them legally.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in an entrant's place of residence. Disputes that cannot be resolved by email to hello@24g.org may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. Last updated for the 2026 public season.
